Participants will learn to paint and alter paper to create interesting patterns and textures.
They will experiment by testing different tools and techniques using various types of recycled paper, and they will have an opportunity to create their own collection of painted and textured papers to incorporate in their abstract collages or other mixed media art.
This workshop is appropriate for anyone who wants to make beautiful papers, especially artists working with collage, journaling, altered books, and mixed media painting.
**Recommended that ppl sign up for all 3 sessions of Catherine's classes, but not necessary!**
